SaferWorldbyDesign SOT 2025 Recap
Supporting the EPA’s Important Work in Toxicology
Due to current U.S. government travel restrictions, EPA scientists could not attend SOT 2025 in person this year, but their vital work should still be recognized. We wanted to highlight their contributions by sharing their latest research, which is now available online in lieu of the usual in-person presentations. For SaferWorldbyDesign and our partners, it was a productive week in sunny Orlando, where we had the chance to connect, learn, and share updates on tools and integrated solutions that support safer and sustainable product design. Here are a few highlights from across the SaferWorldbyDesign ecosystem:
RISK-HUNT3R & ASPIS
Progress from RISK-HUNT3R was presented at SOT, including participation in the joint ASPIS booth, where the spotlight was on advancing risk assessment through data-driven tools and integrated approaches. The collaborative projects in this cluster are focused on building a knowledge infrastructure for next-generation risk assessment, helping to pave the way for more predictive, transparent, and informed decision-making.
